Dear Users!
Yesterday, on October 21 at 16:00 Hungarian time (CEST), critical vulnerabilities in the PHP runtime were published. Since Moodle systems also use PHP, we immediately updated our E-Learning systems with the released security patches. The systems were not compromised.
The Archive MAIN Moodle was using an older, major version 7 of PHP, for which no official security patch has been released, as it is no longer supported. The Archive MAIN Moodle does not support newer PHP versions. For these reasons, we have decided to temporarily take the Archive MAIN Moodle offline, since its security cannot be guaranteed. We continue to monitor news related to this matter, and should a reliable solution emerge in the coming weeks, we will strive to implement it and make the system accessible again. We cannot guarantee this, and we kindly ask for your understanding and patience.
If you need any content from the Archive MAIN Moodle system, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
